The exhibition consists of 34 photographic work set across a variety of dark surreal realms. All of the featured photographs are strongly influenced by the concepts of wealth, pleasure, power and luxury and all the things that remains unseen to the human eye, a dark underbelly of the capitalist heaven.
It’s a futuristic visual combination of material consumption based world with a high dose of spirituality, occult, magic and dream imaginary. The photographs featured in the show contain a high dose of grim humor, multilayered symbolism, and subtle philosophical references to authors including Arthur Schopenhauer, Emanuel Kant and Friendrish Nitsche.

The series in an allegorical way play with the concept of wealth and the dark underbelly of rich. Sparkling white superyachts are something that in todays society considered as one of the highest emblems of material wealth and something many people identify with something to strive for or at least admire the scale of its intimidating beauty. Superyachts would not be typically associated with something dark or mysterious, if anything some people might just see them as show off capitalistic vessels for the riches. It is also not a subject matter that would be typically associated with the surrealist movement
In the Promised land Yachts become vessels for the immense amount of poetic fantasy and dark energies. It could be interpreted as they uncover a certain dark poetic hell behind the white washed wealth of the riches. The strikingly vivid dream alike shapes and colors used across the series suggest that the whole series takes a place in an alternative realm, revealing something that is not evident or associated with darkness. The boats names have been altered and the poetic world play plays an crucial role in the interpretation of these series. Framing plays also a big part in the aesthetic and metaphorical meaning of these work. Frames have been made by the artist and they colors divide the series into 3 sections, pink, turquoise and a fusion(works that have been spread across few different colors. The frames are very inviting and pleasurable to look at, they have a certain eye candy value to them almost like a baba yaga candy house out of the hanzel and Gretel tale. The candy visually pleasing frames confirm there is a lot of unspoken darkness hiding behind objects of an “alluring” or seemingly pleasant nature.
